I am a native born San Franciscan, who grew up in the San Joaquin Valley, along the Kern River, next to the Tehachapi Mountains and Southern Sierra Nevada. I studied Photography and Video at UC San Diego under renowned artist and photographer Martha Rosler, and documentary photographer Fred Lonidier. After UC San Diego, I returned to Cal State University, Bakersfield for further study under environmental artist and photographer Michael Heivly.  I was also personal assistant to Dr. Annabelle Simon Cahn, while she was curator of the Todd Madigan Art Gallery.
I have a deep love and interest in the Western landscape and love travel of all kinds. I have recently concluded a 2 year sailing journey with my husband, on a 46 foot sailboat – S/V Asterias, from San Francisco, CA to Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico.
For most of my career as a photographer and graphic/web designer, I have been based in North Beach in San Francisco and Point Richmond in the East Bay. I now reside in Ogden, Utah where I look forward to photographing the beautiful Wasatch Mountains, the Great Salt Lake Basin, and high desert encompassing my new home.
